Shipping policy

1. Shipping Destinations
Dubbo Lighting Centre ships to addresses within Australia only. We do not currently ship internationally.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated as follows:
- Orders over $1,000 (AUD): Free standard shipping
- Orders under $1,000 (AUD): Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order
Please note that some products — including oversized, heavy, or fragile items — may incur additional shipping charges regardless of order value. Where this applies, you will be notified before your order is confirmed and charged. We reserve the right to apply supplementary shipping charges for bulky or difficult-to-handle items and will always seek your approval before proceeding.
3. Dispatch Timeframes
We carry a range of products, some of which are stocked locally and others that are sourced to order. Dispatch timeframes vary accordingly:
- In-stock products: Typically dispatched within 3–5 business days of order confirmation
- Made-to-order or imported products: May take up to 12 weeks or longer from order confirmation
The estimated dispatch timeframe for each product is indicated on its product page. If you are unsure about the lead time for a specific item, please contact us before placing your order.
Important: Products with longer lead times (such as those taking several weeks) will be clearly noted at the time of purchase. We recommend not scheduling electrical work until you have received a dispatch notification.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Once dispatched, orders are shipped via Australia Post. Estimated delivery times from dispatch are:
- Metro areas: 2–5 business days
- Regional and remote areas: 5–10 business days
These are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Dubbo Lighting Centre is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or other circumstances outside our control.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your Australia Post tracking number. You can use this to track your delivery at auspost.com.au.
If you have not received a tracking notification within your expected dispatch window, please contact us and we will investigate on your behalf.
6. Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of checkout. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched. Dubbo Lighting Centre is not liable for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe location or at a local post office if no one is available to sign for delivery. Please check your tracking for details.
7. Damaged or Lost Parcels
If your order arrives damaged in transit, please:
- Take photographs of the packaging and product before opening further
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at the details below
We will lodge a claim with Australia Post on your behalf and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. Your rights in relation to damaged goods are also protected under the Australian Consumer Law — please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for further information.
If your parcel is lost in transit, please contact us and we will investigate with Australia Post. We will keep you informed throughout the process.
