Can you source lights not listed on your website?
Our website features less than 5% of the products we can source as we have curated our online offering to ensure the highest quality at the best price. If you have something specific in mind, please contact our team and we’ll be able to assist you further.
Will you price match?
We are committed to providing the best products at the best prices. If you see the same item available at a lower cost through an alternative retailer, we’re pleased to offer price matching. To proceed, please forward a copy of the official quote you’ve obtained for the item to hello@dubbolighting.com.au. Our team will review your submission and get back to you within 2 business days.
Please note the following considerations when requesting a price match:
- Shipping/delivery costs will be taken into consideration when reviewing requests to price match
- Price matching excludes liquidation sales, cash-back and coupon offers
- Quotes from Dubbo Lighting Centre are valid for 30 days
- Refunds are not offered for change of mind
- Returns are not accepted on special order items
How will my order be delivered?
Our delivery options are listed below:
- Local pick up: we will prepare your order and notify you as soon as it is ready for collection. Please note our opening hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday.
- Shipping: we ship Australia-wide via Australia Post. Standard shipping is free on orders over $1,000 (AUD); for orders under $1,000, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Some oversized, heavy, or fragile items may incur additional shipping charges. Where this applies, we will notify you before your order is confirmed and charged.
Please note that Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe location or at a local post office if no one is available to sign for delivery — please check your tracking for details.
How long does delivery take?
Total delivery times vary depending on whether an item is a stock item or made to order.
- Stock items generally require up to 1 week for processing and dispatch.
- Not in stock items range from 4 to 16+ weeks, depending on the brand, materials and production method.
Some of our lights are handcrafted or produced in small batches by both international and local designers, which can extend lead times. We will always provide the most accurate estimated lead time on each product page and keep you updated on any changes to production and shipping.
Once dispatched, Australia Post estimates delivery within 2–5 business days for metro areas and 5–10 business days for regional and remote areas. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. While we are committed to timely delivery, Dubbo Lighting Centre is not liable for delayed deliveries, losses or damages connected to said delays.
Please ensure the accuracy of your delivery address when you’re placing your order. Unfortunately, Dubbo Lighting Centre cannot accept responsibility for inaccurately entered delivery details.
If you’ve chosen local pick up from our Dubbo showroom, we will contact you as soon as your order is ready for collection.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your Australia Post tracking number. You can use this to track your delivery at auspost.com.au. If you have not received a tracking notification within your expected dispatch window, please contact us and we will investigate on your behalf. If you require more information, you can also contact us here.
When will my order be delivered?
Australia Post delivery: once your order has been dispatched, Australia Post estimates delivery within 2–5 business days for metro areas and 5–10 business days for regional and remote areas. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Use the Australia Post tracking number in your shipping confirmation email to follow your delivery at auspost.com.au.
If no one is available to receive your delivery, Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe location or at a local post office; please check your tracking for details.
Local pick up: we will contact you as soon as your order is ready for collection from our Dubbo showroom (9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday, excluding Public Holidays).
What if I need my products quickly?

I’m not ready to receive my order; can you hold/store my items?
In most instances, we may be able to store your items provided they have been paid for in full; however, we have limited storage capacity so please contact our team here to confirm whether we will have space to store your items before placing your order.
How do I check lead times?
Every product has an estimated lead time located above the product description. Please make sure you understand our lead times prior to placing your order to assist you in making an informed decision. If you need any help understanding our lead times, please contact our team here.
Can I get my items quicker than the standard lead time?
Some products in our collection can be expedited through express freight. Please note this service is individually evaluated and may incur an extra charge. Please contact our team here if you require expedited delivery.

What should I do if I receive the wrong product?
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or incomplete, please notify our team within 24 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the product and packaging. Please also include the order or invoice number when you contact us.
Showroom
Are all the items on your website on display in the showroom?
Unfortunately, we can’t feature every item from our collection in our showroom due to spatial limitations. Most of our products are accompanied by an extensive description and/or video to help you understand the product's size and scale.
Additionally, there are images that offer close-ups of intricate details and showcase the product’s finish. If you’d like more information on a particular product, please reach out to us here.

Our showroom is open 9.00am – 5.00pm on Monday – Friday and by appointment on Saturdays.

Is my item covered under warranty?
Yes, each product is accompanied by a manufacturer’s warranty. Please note that warranty periods vary between products. Please contact us here to obtain further information about your warranty coverage or review the product sheet included in your product’s packaging.
How can I lodge a warranty claim?

How long will it take for my warranty to be processed?
Processing warranty claims varies according to manufacturer’s policies and shipping times.
Product Care
General product care tips
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and pristine appearance of your products. We advise gently removing dust using a soft, dry cloth or duster.
For products that require more thorough cleaning, use a damp cloth to wipe down the surface before carefully drying the fitting with a separate cloth to remove watermarks.
Please note that certain materials may require specific cleaning and care approaches; please refer to the relevant articles in this guide.
Caring for exterior lights and ceiling fans
Our maintenance suggestions for interior fittings also applies for those used in external situations, but there may be additional considerations depending on your location. Please see our list below:
- Landscape lighting: It’s essential to regularly clean any items exposed to chemicals used for lawn care, deck maintenance and/or motor vehicles as these chemicals could potentially compromise the item’s integrity and lifespan. We recommend following the guidelines relevant to the specific material of fitting.
- Exterior concrete: We recommend thoroughly cleansing with warm soapy water to eliminate surface deposits and residues. We do not suggest using a pressure cleaner as it may result in unintended damage.
- Coastal and extreme weather: We recommend following the guidelines relevant to the specific material of the fitting; however, more frequent maintenance may be required in coastal areas or those facing extreme weather conditions (e.g. acid rain or industrial pollutants).
Caring for metal fittings
- Brass and bronze: Over time, brass will develop an aged patina even when placed in indoor settings. To slow the aging process, we recommend regularly wiping the item down with a damp cloth before drying it thoroughly with a separate cloth. You can also use Brasso to restore its original lustre.
- Aluminium: We recommend regularly wiping the item down with a damp cloth before drying it thoroughly with a separate cloth. Please avoid the use of solvents or detergents and prevent exposure to fertilisers, chlorinated water and/or any other chemicals which may corrode the fitting.
- Stainless steel: We recommend gently washing the fitting with warm soapy water and non-abrasive cloth every couple of months to remove surface deposits. Afterward, wipe the item down with a damp cloth to “rinse” it before drying it thoroughly with a separate cloth. You can also use a specific stainless steel cleaner (including wipes) with a non-abrasive cloth if deeper cleaning is required. - Chrome: Regular dusting is required to prevent the appearance of rust over time. We recommend gently washing the fitting with warm soapy water and non-abrasive cloth every couple of months to remove surface deposits. Afterward, wipe the item down with a damp cloth to “rinse” it before drying it thoroughly with a separate cloth to prevent watermarks and maintain chrome’s brilliance. You can also use a soft-bristled brush for stubborn dust.
Caring for organic and natural materials
- Rattan, wicker and cane: Many of our rattan, cane and/or wicker items feature intricate wrapping and binding, where dust and dirt can accumulate. We recommend weekly dusting or vacuuming with an upholstery brush fitting.
- Fabric (including cotton and linen): We recommend gently removing dust with fine brush or lint remover and spot cleaning with a damp cloth, dabbing or gently wiping with the fabric grain to remove marks. If linen or cotton fittings start to lose their shape, you can use a handheld steamer to gently restore them.
- Timber: We suggest regularly removing dust from timber items with a soft dry cloth or a duster. You can use a damp cloth for deeper cleaning before drying it thoroughly with a separate cloth to prevent watermarks.
- Painted products: We suggest gently cleaning painted fittings with a soft dry cloth. If deeper cleaning is required, use a damp cloth before drying it thoroughly with a separate cloth to prevent watermarks.
Caring for porous materials
- Plaster and ceramic: We suggest removing dust from painted plaster and/or ceramic items with a soft dry cloth or a soft bristle brush. We recommend a “smoke sponge” or similar vulcanized rubber cleaning eraser to remove marks from untreated plaster and/or ceramic fittings.
- Porcelain: We suggest removing dust from painted plaster and/or ceramic items with a soft dry cloth or a soft bristle brush. You can remove small marks using a clean cloth with non-abrasive cream/crème (TBC) cleaner.
- Concrete: Interior concrete fittings should require minimal cleaning; however, we suggest you use a non-abrasive liquid detergent to remove surface deposits as required. Afterward, “rinse” with a clean damp cloth and gently dry with a separate cloth.
